Card Box
This is one of the make and takes we got from convention. The one Stampin' Up! had the sides of the box white. I felt I had to add a little pizzazz to it. I layered Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper on to Basic Black Card Stock. Covered the top of the box with matching Timeless Portrait Designer Fabric. The Flower on the top is several layers of differnt sized pettals and topped off with a Antique Brad.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you decorate the outside of the box before you put it together, make sure you are decorating the outside, not the inside of the box. I am not saying I learned this from experience, but you can say you learned from my mistake.

I love the color of bronze... Yesterday for the fisrt time I got to walk the Main Stage for my accomplishments. I really enjoyed being in the spot light for 30 seconds. Thanks to all my Downline that make my job so much fun! Love you guys! I hope that more of you can make it to Convention next year.

Spanish Fan Page
Stampin' Up! has started a new Facebook Fan Page for those who are interested in Stampin' Up! in Spanish. Check it out and "Like" it. I always have been in love with the Quinceañera stamp set. I wish I had someone I knew that was turning 15 so I could help make cute invites and party favors.

Glitter fun
Swap Nightmare
Good Morning Ladies, I hope you all slept well last night. I was up kinda late working on my swaps for convention. I went to bed about midnight. I awoke from a dream that no one would swap with me at convention because the Sizzix Milk Carton was retired. Before I even made coffee I ran for my new Catalog and was very happy to see the milk Carton in print.
As you can see I outline mine with a silver marker to see the lines better. It helps when you are up late, tired and getting excited about convention.

Convention is almost here
7 day countdown until I am off to Convention. I am excited for a fun week of stamping with old and new friends. We have been working hard on swaps for the past two weeks. I hope to wrap it up by Thursday. But I have a feeling I will still be working on them on the plane ride. Here is a sneak peak at one of my swaps. It is a shoe box swap. You ask what a shoe box swap is, because who really wants an old shoe box? Well I prepare everything to make a fun project, (design, measure, and cut paper) I take all the supplies with me to finish the card. We sit around tables and pass around out boxes and create each others masterpieces. So here is one of mine...
I used the new Stampin' Up! Pennant Parade set and coordinating punch and Designer Series Paper. The colors are, Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, and Wild Wasabi. I also got out the Big Shot and rolled out a couple cute milk cartons to fit in the holder.
To make the holder cut a 5 1/5 X 8" piece of cardstock. Score at 1", 2 3/4", 3 3/4 on the 5 1/2 side and score 1" on each side of the 8 sides
Hope you enjoy!
